The History
The club, which started in 1919 has been through many ups and downs and financial struggles has finally found its footing and will strive for a new title as a team that will have a new name upon itself and they shall be called RB Leeds
1930s: The Foundation: after being relegated late last decade they fought for promotion and succeeded on the first try and established themselves as a concrete mainstay in the First division.
1950s: The Rebuild once again they had been relegated near the end of the previous decade and that led them to be dormant in the second division and being futile in their attempts to the top however they eventually returned despite outside interferences and damage to the stadium
1960s:The revival: After being stuck in a rut in the second tier they started challenging for promotion and they re-entered the top-flight and they started rising to the top soon after under the helm of player-manager Don Revie
1970s: The new beginning: After life began in the First Division they survived and maintained a respectable league position this also marked their first F.A Cup win similarly this was their first attempt and arrival into the European cup as well as the first acquisition of the trophy
1980s The wasteland: After some struggles the club bemoaned the downfall and stagnation of the club after being relegated after many managers had stints, these stints only led to more strife after being close to reaching the clubs former glory
1990s The Triumph: the 90s started off with a bang for the club as they had just secured promotion to the what was soon to become the Premier League and it was soon followed by a title and multiple qualifications and attempts for the Champions League titles and honors
2000s The darkest days After the triumphant last decade it seemed like years of prosperity were abound; this seemed to be the case leading into the new millennium as they had just cultivated some young home-grow talent that sparked youthful energy into the squad this allowed for one more title push unfortunately this did not come to fruition and thus the club fell into disarray and finical troubles and then put the club into administration
2010s Rise from the ashes: Finally out of the woes of administration Leeds began to settle into the championship as a middle table side they were never really title challengers until near the of the decade as in 2018 they entered the play-offs for the first time in over 9 years unfortunately promotion was not won however the next year was the tipping point as an extra commiseration to their 100 year anniversary they secured promotion
